By train
Rail companies operate regular services to Truro from all major British cities. The service from London Paddington to Truro normally takes just over four hours. Change at Truro for branch line services to Falmouth and Penryn. From Truro, the journey times are approximately 20 minutes to Falmouth, and 15 minutes to Penryn.
If you are arriving at London Gatwick airport, it is possible to travel to Falmouth by train via Reading. This cuts out the need to travel across London on the underground.

By road
Take the A30 from Exeter or the A38 from Plymouth, which joins the A30 at Bodmin. Continue along the A30 and, at the wind farm, watch out for the signpost for the A3076 to Truro. Take this road to Truro where it joins the A39 to Falmouth.
For Penryn, take the first exit at the Treliever roundabout (about 9 miles from Truro) and approximately 150 metres further, turn right where signposted into Penryn Campus. Penryn Campus has a pay and display car park.
For Falmouth, continue on the A39 into Falmouth. Once in Falmouth, locate the Dell pay and display public car park next to Falmouth Town station, then please use the footpaths shown to reach the reception.
National Express Coaches also run daily services to Falmouth. Local bus services run between both campuses.
By plane
Flights operate between Newquay in Cornwall and London City, Gatwick and Stansted Airports. The flight takes about an hour and Newquay airport is approximately 25 miles from Falmouth and Penryn.
The only way you can travel from Newquay Airport to Falmouth is by bus, taxi or hire car. Bus services are infrequent: it would be advisable to telephone Traveline on 0870 608 2 608 or visit www.traveline.org.uk for details of services, times and fares. Taxis must be booked in advance and the fare to Falmouth will probably cost between £45 and £55.
Exeter and Bristol airports operate daily international flights to Europe and beyond. Regular train services run from Bristol Temple Meads and Exeter St Davids rail stations to Falmouth and Penryn via Truro.
By ferry
Car ferry and passenger services to France and Spain sail from Plymouth, which is easily reached by car or by train from Falmouth.
