Disruptions
ESI Lift (Asset 00215) Temporarily Out of Service – 9 September – Until Further Notice
The ESI lift, in the stairwell near reception, is temporarily out of service. We have notified our contractors to fix the issue and signage is in place. In the meantime, please use the alternative lift on the other side of the building. We apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Noise Disturbance & Steps Closed Outside Fox 1, Falmouth Campus – Monday 16 December to Friday 20 December 2024
Ground works to back fill the area where a mains water leak was repaired will be underway next week (16-20 Dec) on Falmouth campus. This means that the steps outside Fox 1 will remain closed until our contractors have completed the work. During this time, for a couple of hours, there will be noise disruption to the surrounding areas when the excavator is in use. Barriers and a redirection for pedestrians are in place. AIR Lift (Asset Number: 00214) Temporarily Out of Service – 17 December – Until Further Notice
Due to a technical fault, the lift in the AIR building has temporarily been taken out of service. We have notified our contractors and are awaiting an engineer to attend to fix the issue. Reduced Parking in Car Park E, Penryn Campus – 3 January – 4 April 2025
Due to construction works, a section of Car Park E (a total of 10 spaces next to the boulders) will be cordoned off and unavailable for a period of three months, from Friday 3 January to Friday 4 April 2025.

No Access to Library Building Studio 5 (within the Tannachie Garden Building), Falmouth Campus – 9 January 2025
Our contractors will be returning on Thursday 9 January to carry out some overhead works to the Library Building Studio 5 (within the Tannachie Garden Building), at Falmouth Campus. Due to the nature of the works, the room will out of bounds for all students and staff for the full day.

Fire Alarm Testing at Falmouth and Penryn Campuses
Penryn Campus testing: Fridays 7:30am to 9:00am.
The bell will sound for a few seconds so please take no action and do not evacuate the building at this signal. If you cannot hear the alarm in your area, please inform Safety and Support on 01326 255875. Should the bell continue to sound, please assume it is a real alarm and evacuate accordingly. Please obey alarms at all other times.
Falmouth Campus testing: Fridays from 3:00pm.
