Glasney Student Village is located within the grounds of Penryn Campus and accommodates over 1,500 students from both Falmouth University and the University of Exeter. The 100-acre site has spectacular views over Falmouth and Penryn, the sea and the surrounding countryside. The on-campus facilities include a gym, refectory, cafes and a bar, a live events venue and shop. It is only a 20 minute bus ride from Falmouth town and a 15 minute walk from Penryn town centre.
Students share a flat with six to nine others from Falmouth University and the University of Exeter with each flat offering a fully equipped kitchen/living area.
For those that do not wish to cook or worry about cooking each night, we have a fantastic catered option for you. This includes breakfast and dinner, Monday to Friday. Your flat will still have a full kitchen to use at the weekends or whenever you wish so you have the best of both. You will also live with other catered students so you can dine out together. You are able to select the catered option when making your application. For more information please visit our Catered Halls page.

What’s included in the rent?
Rent includes personal possessions insurance and utility bills – internet access, water, heating and electricity (within a given quota, above which additional charges may be made).
The insurance cover is a basic policy and you may wish to extend this cover to ensure all your belongings are covered e.g. laptop, musical instruments, photographic equipment etc. Visit the Endsleigh insurance website for more information about your cover.
Some of our offsite locations may have a fair usage policy, please see your contract for details.
What Do I Need to Bring?
You will need to bring your own bedding (including duvet and pillows), towels, cookware, cooking utensils, crockery and personal items.
Shared Rooms
Our shared studybed rooms provide a cleverly designed study and living space for two students. Studybeds rotate between two functions, acting alternatively as a single bed and a large desk area. The innovative design means there is no need to clear the desk before rotating to the bed.
Accessibility/Adapted Rooms
We have a number of rooms that can be adapted for students with additional requirements. They include the same facilities but may have, for example, grab rails or en-suite wet room. If you have specific requirements for your accommodation please make contact with us as soon as possible so we can discuss your requirements further. Depending on demand, you may be allocated an accessible room without specifically requiring one.
