The Quarry opened in September 2020 and is a ten minute walk from Falmouth town centre and is also within walking distance of Falmouth Campus. There are bus stops nearby so travelling to the Penryn Campus is easy.
The accommodation is made up of 98 en-suite rooms in shared flats and 36 studio flats. All shared flats have fully-fitted kitchens, and TVs are provided in the cluster kitchens. To make budgeting easier all utilities are included in the rent. Secure door entry and 24 hour CCTV will ensure that you feel safe and secure.
We have a contract for some, but not all, of the rooms in this residence. The remaining rooms are rented privately through CRM Students who manage this property.

When applying for The Quarry you will see a price range, rather than a room type. Those students that are allocated to The Quarry will be allocated a room type within this price range.
International Postgraduate students will be able to apply for a ‘Premium’ room at The Quarry for a period of 51 weeks.
What’s included in the rent?
Rent includes personal possessions insurance and utility bills – internet access, water, heating and electricity (within a given quota, which additional charges may be made).
The insurance cover is a basic policy and you may wish to extend this cover to ensure all your belongings are covered e.g. laptop, musical instruments, photographic equipment etc. For further information regarding insurance cover please click here.
