- During the holiday period, Glasney Lodge will be open 24/7 to provide support with any questions or issues you may have.

- For students planning on staying in Glasney Village or Packsaddle over the Christmas period, the ResLife and Accommodation teams are organising a special delivery of festive goody bags. Please look out for the email about this and let us know if you are in residence.
- Mince Pies and nibbles will be available at Glasney Lodge on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The lodge is open 24/7 and students are very welcome to pop in at any point for a chat or cup of tea/coffee.
- If you are remaining in the area, there are still lots of activities taking place on campus, online and within the local community. You can find out more by browsing our events at the bottom of this page and by following the ResLife Instagram page for the latest updates.

Chaplaincy
- The Multifaith Chaplaincy on Penryn Campus (Tremough Barton Cottage 8) will be open 9:00am-17:00pm Monday – Friday throughout the festive break. However, no chaplains or staff will be present during this time.
- The Muslim Prayer Room in Tremough House, Penryn campus, remains open 24/7.
- The Multifaith Chaplaincy room in the Fox Building on the Falmouth Campus will be closed from 17:00pm on Wednesday 24 December and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.

Penryn Campus Library

At the times when the Penryn Campus Library is open but unstaffed and it will be operating self-service. During this period, our campus Safety and Support team will be patrolling the space. Should you need them, they are contactable via the SafeZone app, or by calling 01326 254444.

Falmouth Campus Services and Facilities
From Monday 22 December 2025 – Monday 5 January 2026:
- Campus open: 9:00am-17:00pm, Monday 22, Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 December 2025.
- Campus will close at 17:00pm on Wednesday 24 December and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026, to resume usual term time opening hours.
- Technical facilities and workshops will close on Friday 19 December and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.
IT Service Desk
IT Service Desk provision over the festive period:
Usual service is Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Hols) 8:45am – 17:15pm.

There is an Emergency Out of Hours monitoring service where staff will be on call to respond to any automated alerts and resolve any critical system outages should they occur.
