Meet the Student Support Team

Student Support are here to help you manage your mental health and wellbeing, so you can make the most of student life and your studies. This could be listening to worries about money, your course, or relationships at a drop-in appointment. Signposting to local support services and wellbeing resources or working with you to create an ongoing plan to help you better manage your mental health. The team is made up of skilled advisors, therapists, counsellors and mental health professionals and you will be matched with the support that is most suited to you.

There are many ways to contact the Student Support team. You can request a drop-in appointment at the Compass Helpdesk. Email at studentservices@fxplus.ac.uk, complete the Student Support form, use the compass web chat, or call 01326 370 460.

“It is normal to feel anxious, homesick, overwhelmed, depressed or stressed sometimes. It can make us feel very alone and that there is something wrong with us. We can help normalise this, there is lots of help out there and we are here to help.”
