A message from Lee Hallam, Director of Commercial Operations

Dear Customer

For a variety of reasons, the hospitality industry is currently facing unprecedented levels of staff and supply shortages.  These shortages are also affecting our campus catering outlets and shops.

We have fewer staff to serve you than normal so please be aware that queues at certain times of the day will be longer than we would like. We may also have to adjust opening times throughout the week – sometimes at short notice.

Many products across catering, retail and the bar are now in short supply. Therefore, our menus and the shelves in our shops are likely to have less variety than normal. We also may be unable to stock some of our standard products.

We are working with our suppliers to try and find a solution but these are national problems that are likely to be with us through the coming months.

Please be patient and kind to our staff – we are all trying to serve you as quickly as we can, especially during periods of peak demand. Our focus is and will always be on providing the best service and widest range of choice.
